Training To Lose Body Fat

Burning body fat requires dedication and commitment to a training program. A complete fat burning program will include weight training as well as cardiovascular development. It is a common misconception that cardio is the key to burning body fat, whereas it is a combination of weights and cardio that will ultimately deliver that lean and toned physique.

Complete focus is essential when training for muscle growth. It’s all about consistency, form and intensity. We will see you gaining lean mass through our training while providing you with vital information for achieving maximum results.

Fortnightly Progress Checks

Continued progression is the goal; we will check your progress every two weeks during your transformation. A photo will be taken at the five-week mark to show your progress and help motivate you through until the end.

You’ll never realise the distance you have covered unless you pause and look back to your starting point. Visualising your journey gives a huge sense of achievement. With our close attention to your journey through photos and progress checks, it will not only motivate you, but also provide a clear indicator of tweaks that need to be made. The program is designed for training in pairs, and we encourage this option. To train alongside others with goals of their own to change and transform their bodies and lifestyle is an excellent motivator. However if your preference is to have one-on-one PT sessions, our pricing for this option is below.

Nutrition

Nutrition is key to your success! 70-80% of your results come from 100% dedication to the nutrition plan, and how badly you want to achieve your goals. As for training we got you covered all you have to do is show up. As part of the Total Body Transformation program we provide a 10 week nutrition plan with on going changes. This is not a diet; but part of your new healthy eating. Not to worry, we know how much you love your food so we’ll provide you with healthy options that still allow you to enjoy a meal out, your trainer will advise when this is appropriate and suggest great options and alternatives to keep you on track.

Should I Eat Less To Lose More Fat?

You should not eat less – You should just eat different. Smaller meals, more often are the key.

A common misconception is that starving yourself will be the fastest way to lose the weighing scale digits. This should never be the case!

When on a clean eating diet it’s not about NOT eating or starving our bodies to lose weight, it’s about nourishing it with good healthy foods. When developing your plan our aim is to create delicious meals while maintaining focus on the goal you’ve set out from the start.

Combining a healthy diet with our program, you will lose fat, remain or become healthier and build muscle. Our workouts are designed to make good use of your food fuel so it’s important you follow your assigned nutrition plan closely so you can be looking and feeling at your best for the ultimate 10 week photo!

What’s The Optimal Diet Plan If I’m Building Muscle?

To pack on serious muscle, you need to consume more calories than you burn throughout the day. Working hard in the gym is not enough; you must also work hard in the kitchen. Consuming healthy calories, eaten at the right frequency is important, so meal planning and preparation is key. Our trainers will monitor your eating plans throughout to ensure they are suitable to your current status while building toward your desired results.

How Many Meals Should I Have Per Day?

The body burns the food that you consume, eat too much and you’ll end up with storage of unused calories, eat less and you won’t have enough to keep up with your workouts. We want to get you eating small meals often; this will produce the best outcome for your body. By supplying the body with the right foods and good fats, your body will be able to function effectively.

Eating every 2-3 hours, consuming 5-6 high quality meals throughout the day is best. To accomplish this routine be sure to do some advanced planning so you know exactly what and when you’ll eat.

A meal plan will be provided to you and your trainer will assist you in maintaining. Eventually it will become routine and you will be amazed at the increase in energy levels you experience. Your trainer can also provide you with thorough knowledge on types of foods to avoid, foods you should be consuming on a daily basis and in what moderation.

Frequently Asked Questions

I Don’t Know Much About Nutrition & Training; Will This Affect My Results During The Total Body Transformation 10 Week Transformation?

No, not at all. The purpose of being a part of the 10 week transformation program is that you’re assigned a professional personal trainer who will work with you every step of the way. Your trainer will have a genuine interest and involvement in your training movements and daily eating habits. He or she will always be in regular contact and a phone call away to answer any of your questions, provide support and ensure you stay on track to gaining your ultimate results.

Can I Participate In The Total Body Transformation Program If I Don’t Already Have A High Level Of Fitness Or Never Been Active In The Gym?

Of course you can! The Total Body Transformation program is designed to cater to people of all fitness levels. Even if you are inexperienced in the gym, our trainers are there to assist you every step of the way right up to your final weigh-in at week 10!

Will I See Results If I Don’t Follow The Diet Plan?

Yes you will see results, but nowhere near as significant of a result as combining the transformation workouts with your 10-week meal plan. Diet is 70-80% of your over-all result so we encourage you stick to it. Your trainer will be there for support along the way.

How Quickly Will I See Results?

It depends largely on the effort you are willing to put in, but we usually say that between 2-4 weeks after starting you will begin to see changes in both your body and fitness.

What’s The Maximum Amount Of Weight I Can Lose In A Week?

It can be different for everyone; many factors influence this including how much you are willing to participate and what your starting weight is. Please note that weight loss results may vary for each individual. However those carrying excess weight for their body shape and size will lose more.

For example, a person weighing 110kgs and looking to lose 40kgs will drop weight quicker than someone weighing 70kgs and looking to lose 5kgs.

Judge your weight loss in measurements, photographs and the fit of your clothes as opposed to the scales; it will be different for everyone.

I’m Not Overweight, But I Feel I Need To Be Fitter? Is This Program For Me?

Yes, our options aren’t solely focused on dropping weight and putting on muscle, many of our clients join purely to tone up and stay fit!

If I Can’t Do The Whole 10 Weeks Worth Of Sessions, Can I Just Do A Portion?

No. This is a 10 week transformation. Your success is based on you completing the transformation from start to finish. You can’t do half a job, you must be dedicated to achieve the healthy body you want and we can assure you that at the end of the 10 weeks you’ll have no regrets in giving it your all.

What Is The Joining Fee For?

This initial fee secures your place in our next transformation. As spaces are limited this fee ensures only those who are serious about taking part book a spot and do not take the opportunity away from anyone else.
